Does anyone know which operations are supported by the Google healthcare API with regards to fhir codesystems, valuesets and conceptsmaps?
For codesystems we are looking for information on the following ops:
$validate-code
$find-matches
$lookup

For conceptmaps:
$translate

For valuesets:
$expand

Regards

ConceptMap $translate is available in the beta API: https://cloud.google.com/healthcare/docs/reference/rest/v1beta1/projects.locations.datasets.fhirStores.fhir/ConceptMap-translate

All of the others you mention are being tracked as potential future enhancements to our support for terminology services, but not supported currently.

Thank you, thinking about it, am I correct in saying that I can always use the search feature described here https://cloud.google.com/healthcare/docs/reference/rest/v1beta1/projects.locations.datasets.fhirStores.fhir/search to search codesystems and valuesets?

Search allows you to find a code system or value set by its canonical URL or other attributes, but it doesn't do much to operate on the codes once you have them.

Thanks Paul,

I was thinking about using search to find codes using parameters, something like .../valueset/compose.include.concept.code = XXX. This would be useful to create a custom implementation of $validate-code for instance.

That should work. Note that FHIR search is defined in terms of search parameter names rather than field paths like "compose.include.concept.code" - you want "ValueSet?code=XXX" for this, see the table at http://hl7.org/fhir/valueset.html#search
