Delighted as I am by the new cloud printing capabilities of Android 4.4, I'm rather dismayed that it doesn't seem to have the ability to print selected pages or to "print selection," i.e. highlighted text. I realize that there are workarounds for this in desktop versions of Chrome, but in Android I can't seem to get it to happen. To print only a single page or a few paragraphs from a multi-page document from either QuickOffice or Drive, I have to select the text, create a new document, and print that entire document. Not arduous, but definitely irritating. Is this going to be added soon? It was available in the HP printing app I had before and I find I miss it.

Thank you for the suggestion! I agree, with Android 4.4 having Quick Office and built-in printing, printing from a selection can be a useful workflow. I've filed the feature request and we'll see if we can do something about this soon.

Yes, Scott & notamaiar,

I have been using the Cloudprint app on the Droid 4 & love it. BUT, like a recipe I printed, it printed the ONE page recipe, and all the comments, about pages worth, and as much as I love reading people's comments, I DON'T want to print them. Great app, otherwise.
