One other point, I have had a message from Dan about the March newsletter, nothing nasty nor is he complaining about any of the content etc. However he has asked if you can stop sending out the newsletters using both the google groups and doing it direct, apparently he has had the message three times. I know I got it twice, please note that he did not say do not send out direct, he asked for one or the other, thinking about it he does have a point.

Makes a change for him not to moan about the newsletter though, you must be making progress with him or waering him down! : )

Hi All

Please disregard the previous message sent out using the google group mailer.

I accidentally hit reply to the to the wrong message and not realised that I blasted the message out to the entire network.

This is the problem when a message is sent out using the google mail system, you have to make sure that you do not hit reply, unfortunately I replied to the wrong message as both messages informing clubs about the March newsletter had Chris Hall's name as the sender.

The contents were supposed to be private and the last part of the message meant as a joke.

So I will take this opportunity to publicly apologise to all clubs in the network for receiving what could be considered to be a 'spam' message and I whole heartedly send my sincerest apologies to Dan whom I did not mean to offend.

Anyway I am off now to have my wrists and legs slapped!

Yep agree, only kept publishing it to Google site at Dan's request, but he is right (the fact that did point this out to him a while ago does not matter) and will not send out to Google in future...

Just sent details / links to West Wind for this months and last months magazine, so they can see what we do monthly
