My friend put together a team for Islamic Relief's annual Walk for Water Event. (More info about the event is here: http://get-involved.irusa.org/site/TR?fr_id=1190&pg=entry). It's team Durbah....Considering that's code word for "North Jersey"....I thought we could have a South Jersey team :) I guess this pushed some buttons because a third then threatened to make a Central Jersey team...haha, Jersey Unity is like no other.

The walk is April 13 -- Sunday, iA. iA the weather will be nice...but it is March already and another snowstorm is on the radar....la 7awla wa la qowwata illa bil lah.

"When I was a young man, I wanted to change the world. I found it was difficult to change the world, so I tried to change my nation. When I found I couldn't change the nation, I began to focus on my town.  I couldn't change the town and as an older man, I tried to change my family. Now, as an old man, I realize the only thing I can change is myself, and suddenly I realize that if long ago I had changed myself, I could have made an impact on my family.  My family and I could have made an impact on our town. Their impact could have changed the nation and I could indeed have changed the world."
