Hi Gang,

Shall we start tossing around ideas for our next meeting and propose a
date?

I can do a talk on one of the following topics if there is any
interest:
- Developing for Android
- What's nice in Java 5 and 5
- Google App Engine

During the first meeting we seemed to come to a consensus that every
two months was about the right time. This would put our next meeting
either the 23rd of June or the 30th. I think the 23rd is a better date
because it is not during the school holidays, so there is less risk
that people will be away on holiday.

Thoughts?

Warwick

Vote from me on Android - some sort of live demo would be good if at all possible.

Not sure what you mean on the 2nd one... do you mean Java 6 & 7?

Sorry, that should have read what's nice in Java 5 and 6. It's intended for those people who might still be on Java 1.4.

We've built and released a small Android app... I'm no expert, but
would be happy to contribute to the conversation.

I'd be more interested in java 6 and java 7 niceties to be honest! :)

No worries. Should probably include 7 then too. I could talk a little on closures and dynamic hooks in 7 if necessary
