GCCC supporting IT on the Gold Coast

Steve mentioned during a discussion at Barcamp Brisbane that the GCCC
have an initiative that supports local industry in order to broaden
the economic base of the Gold Coast.

Well here is some evidence that this is true, and that it includes IT.

While it is positive, I think they are aiming in the wrong direction.

The Valley is hardly about companies like IBM anymore .. where's the encouragement of small businesses creating unique products?
