I personally prefer the first idea, but I agree the second might be more logistically possible. Therefore I'm in favor of having a large room with Project Better Place (such an inspiring company). I like the idea of having wine tasting, art, photography, but I think having any booths or tables with Info on birthright or other organizations will make it seem like a promotional night, which it isn't. If we start searching now, I'm sure we can find plenty of Israeli art, fashion, music, etc.
I think a dress code can be implied or encouraged when we promote this.

I can't make the meeting as I'll be away.

Hag sameach!

Hi all,

I hope most of you can make it to our next meeting at 7 pm on Wednesday April 22nd. Please be sure to RSVP to agew...@jccgb.org as soon as possible.

Attached please find our current proposal for the event. Since our last meeting, we have met with our two co-chairs (Josh Shnider and Nooam Blum) as well as the young adult staff members here at CJP. With the committee’s suggestions in mind, we tried to narrow down our focus. We hope you will see your thoughts reflected in the proposal. Please note the proposed dates for the event is June 17th (Wed) or June 18th (Thurs).

Please read over the proposal and reply with your thoughts and comments before Pesach (so by Wednesday 4/9).

Thanks so much and we look forward to hearing your thoughts!

Hi everyone,

I think if we can find one very large room, we should section off that room with various activities. I agree that with multiple rooms, people may not be as engaged with everyone. If they see many things going on in different areas in one space, I think this would be great. I wonder if there is some sort of ballroom or something that is huge, where we could do this. I think there could be minimal information on Israel and programs available, because people may be looking for this info; this should be kept to one specific table or area. Otherwise, wine tasting, Israeli dance..all of that is great. There could be a time when a musical act could perform and sort of be the "headline." Then the whole room would turn into a big concert.
I don't think we should advertise a specific dress code, but depending on the location and the activities that we advertise, people may dress accordingly.
