Hamlet is back from his journey and sees someone being buried. He
finds out it's Ophelia and says how much he loved her and how sad he
was. Then he agrees to fight Laertes, but the match is rigged. The
sword that Laertes has is poisoned. In the middle of the battle, the
queen drinks poison that Hamlet was suppose to drink if Laertes didn't
kill him. Hamlet is distracted and Laertes stabs him. They end up
switching swords, and Hamlet stabs Laertes. While he's dying, Laertes
tells Hamlet about the plot to kill him, so Hamlet kills Claudius.
Hamlet tells Horatio he wants his story to be told, then dies.
Fortinbras takes over as king (I don't really get where he came
from...) and sets up a "military funeral" for Hamlet.

Hamlet returns and wants to know whose grave they are digging. When he
finds out it's his loves he freaks and confesses his true love for
her. Laertes and Hamlet agree to battle. Laertes gets hamlet with the
poisoned weapon. The queen drinks the poisoned wine starts to die. In
a tussle they end up switching weapon and Hamlet gets Laertes. While
Laertes is dying he tells hamlet of the king's plan to kill him the
entire time. So Hamlet ends up killing the king also. Which was his
entire mission anyway. Fortinbras the prince of Norway comes and
claims the kingdom. He also brings word that Rosencrantz and
Guildernstern were killed as they were suppose to be.

in act 5 hamlet gets back and wonders who's grave they are digging. he
finds out it was ophelias and he freaks out and tells everyone how
much he really loved her and then he stormed away angrily. then he
agrees to fight with laertes and ends up getting cut from laertes
sword which had poison on it and then hamlet gets that sword and cuts
laertes. so they are both poisoned and end up dying along with
gertrude, Hamlets mother who drank the poison, and claudius the king,
because hamlet stabbed him and made him drink the poison. hamlet says
he doesnt want anyone to kill themselves and wants them to tell his
story. from there on i am kind of confused with who gets king and all
that stuff

Ophelia is buried. There is a problem though, should she be buried or
not? did she commit suicide? Hamlet finally confesses his love for
Ophelia when he finds out it is here that is getting buried. Does he

does the same to Laertes with the same rapier with the poison. Hamlet
forces the the King to drink the poison. Hamlet tells Horatio who

So in this act i think the major themes that are shown are revenge,
deception and betrayl and love. Hamlet finally gets his revenge on
claudius by killing him with the poisoned sword and making him drink
the poison. Claudius decieves his wife and accidentally betrays her
when she drinks the wine and dies. And lastly hamlet shows love when
he finds out that ophelia is dead and he confesses his love for her.

Ophelia dies by drowning and it looks like suicide, so they dont know
what type of burial
she should receive. Hamlet returns to Denmark, and agrees to fight
Laertes in a dual.
As a backup plan, Laertes and Claudius say that if Laertes doesnt win
the dual Hamlet,
will drink poisonous wine. During the dual, the Queen drinks the
poisonous wine that Hamlet was
suppose to drink. Hamlet gets distracted and Laertes stabs Hamlet, but
somehow they switch swords
and Hamlet stabs Laertes with the poisonous sword. Laertes tells
Hamlet about the plan to kill him as
he is dying, Hamlet kills Claudious, the queen and Laertes dies. In
the end Hamlet dies as well.
Fortinbras comes and takes over as king, and orders Hamlet to be
carried out like a warrior. What
I dont how Fortinbras gets to just come in and take over!

Hamlet shows his stages of grief in this act. When he finds out that
ohpelia dies he starts to confess his love for her and he gets really
angry and tells laretes he accepts his duel. Also Claudius shows
cowardness when he puts poison in the drink and lets laretes poison
the sword. Also a major theme in this act is revenge because he
finally gets revenge on claudius.

Hamlet returns and sees that Ophelia is dead. Laertes and Hamlet get
into a fight about who loves her more. Laertes and Hamlet have a sword
fight. Claudius is out for revenge on Hamlet so they poison Laertes's
sword and has a glass of wine that Hamlet will drink after his first
few hits. Hamlet refuses to drink it. The queen ends up taking the
first drink and ends up dying. While Hamlet isn't paying attention
Laertes stabs him with the poisoned sword. They end up switching
swords and Hamlet stabs Laertes. Laertes then tells Hamlet about
Claudius's revenge to kill him, so Hamlet kills Claudius. Hamlet says
that he wants his story to be told to others right before he died.
Fortinbras says that Hamlet will be carried away like a soldier. He

In this act i think that a couple major themes were shown. Revenge
and love are the two i think were shown. Hamlet finally gets revenge
on Claudius when he kills him but it cost his life but earlier hamlet
finds out that ophelia is dead and he starts to grieve and confess his
love for her. Also i think that claudius and laretes are cowards for
using poison.

I assume that Hamlet's forged document tells the English to kill
Rosencratz and Guildenstern nstead of himself but it seems
unnecessary. He seemed to pick them so that the English would think
they had done something that the king wanted.

Hamlet sees the king and queen and gravedigger burying Ophelia and he
is very troubled by her death. He agrees to fight Laertes. During the
fight, the queen drinks from the poison cup and dies. Then Laertes
wounds Hamlet and Hamlet also wounds him right after. Laertes
confesses the plan to kill Hamlet. Hamlet forces the king to drink the
poisoned wine so the king dies. Then Laertes dies and Hamlet dies
shortly after that. The last two or three pages really close up all
the loose ends of everyone trying to get revenge on whoever else, but
basically everyone important ends up dying while trying to kill the
other people so it turns out to be pretty pointless.

The King and Laertes make a plan to kill Hamlet.

Hamlet sends letters to Horatio and to the King
that tell of his return and his plan of revenge. He comes
back and the first thing he finds out is that Ophelia has
drowned herself. He then tells everyone how he once loved
her, which makes Laertes even more mad at him. (Laertes
also wants revenge on him for killing his father)

Hamlet finds the plans from the King adn Laertes that
tell about their plot to kill him and he goes along with it.
Hamlet is summoned by Orsic to a fencing match with
Laertes and the bloodbath begins. The queen dies first
when making a toast to Hamlet.(she drinks the drink
that was meant for Hamlet). Then Hamlet finally gets
his chance to kill the King and does, by making him drink
poison that killed his mom. Then Laertes dies, but asks for
forgiveness from hamlet. Then Hamlet dies, but tells
Horatio that Fortinbras should be the new Danish King.

When Hamlet tells Ophelia that he doesn't lover her, I feel that was
anger, not his insanity. His view of women has been destroyed by his
motehr marrying Claudius and he doesn't want to be hurt by her. When
he finds out she's dead, I think this snaps him of out his act of
being insane. I think even though he doesn't day it, he feels very
guilty about her death because it was pretty much his fault that she
died.
Hamlet does try to apologize to Laertes, even though he doesn't really
accept it. But when Laertes is about to die I think he sees Claudius
real side and that's why he tells Hamlet of their plan, and also
because he knows how much it hurts to have to want revenge that much.
Horatio again proves himself as a loyal character and probably the
most loyal and saniest. Throughtout everything he never turned his
back on Hamlet, but he never got all crazy either. This shows that
there is some sanity.
The Fortinbras thing was kinda random. Didn't really get it.

I don't understand why they wouldn't give Ophelia a proper burial.
Back in their time I guess I get why, but today they would. It's
common courtesy but times have changed. I think when Hamlet tells
Ophelia he isn't in love with her anymore, he's lying. I think that he
really does but his relationships with others is being ruined.
