Dear Students of 2014-2015 batch,

                                                            There will be an off campus drive by IBM for 2015,2014 students for the post of for the position, Associate System Engineer2. with the following  JD and eligibility criteria:-

Job Description:        IBM Global Business Services helps clients solve complex business and technical issues. We deliver innovative business consulting, process design, systems integration, application management and design. Our core competencies include deep business process and industry expertise, advanced analytics and research capabilities, comprehensive IT infrastructure knowledge, and proven ability to implement enterprise solutions that deliver bottom-line business value. This entry-level role is for a graduate with a university level education, who is hired for GBS GD (Global Business Solution Global Delivery). It is a challenging and an enriching platform for graduates/ post-graduates to implement their academic learning in real time situations, acquire new skills and more importantly, make a difference. The Employee will focus on individual/team objectives and development of professional effectiveness. In the role, you will design applications, write code, test, debug and maintain Software Applications across various platforms and technologies. We are looking for exceptional candidates who are enterprising, have good interpersonal skills, have the ability to operate in large teams that work closely with clients. They must also have sound time management skills, ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize and deliver on time. Effective communication skills, a passion to learn and apply technical prowess to solve Client problems are a must. Communication/Negotiation: Draw upon professional concepts to collaborate with others to carry out assigned duties. Negotiation is required. Problem Solving: Recognize job-related problems. Analyze causes using existing techniques or tools, Prepare and recommend solution alternatives. Challenge the validity of given procedures and processes with the intent to enhance and improve. Contribution/Leadership: Work on professional projects; work is often reviewed for developmental purposes. Understand the standard mission of the professional group and vision in own area of competence. May directly influence people in own project. Impact On Business/Scope: Accountable for individual or team results. May contribute by supporting activities that are subject to business measurements, impact customer satisfaction, or impact immediate costs or expenses. Flexibility Willingness to work across technologies and job locations, based on business need of the hour.

Eligibility Degrees & Percentage Cut off        B.E / B.Tech / MCA / M.Tech/ M.E

Year of Passing: 2014 & 2015

With minimum 65% or 6.5 CGPA throughout.(10th std till the qualifying degree)
Branches        Computer Science Engineering & Information Technology

Those who are fulfilling the criteria and willing to appear for the drive please let me know immediately ,latest by 2nd April positively. Please inform your batch mates also.

                           I understand some of you  have not got any communication from IBM but have received mail from Pailan college. Attend the drive   with copy of Pailan's mail.

Dear Students,
                             Before sending your names to IBM, I had asked through group mail,If you are interested or not,then after getting confirmation from you I had sent your names. I had sent 12 names from M.Tech IT -14 batch,8 from M.Tech IT -15 batch,11from B.Tech IT -15 batch,6 from B.Tech CSE -15 batch,6 each from IT and CSE 2014 batch. But surprisingly none of the M.Tech candidates attended the drive. Only 5 students from B.Tech 2015 batch(Chanchal,Debsmith,Rupak,Vinod&Pratip) and 4 students (Surajit & Subhajit Saha,Kamalika Basu and Dipika Dhara)from B.Tech 2014 batch reported at the venue.
I am trying my level best to help you but  don't get cooperation from you. It was a rare opportunity for 2014 batch students specially M.Tech students.
MAY I KNOW WHY YOU BEHAVED LIKE THIS?ONLY 9 STUDENTS OUT OF 49 STUDENTS REPORTED .I LOST MY FACE ,BECAUSE IBM HAD REPEATEDLY REQUESTED TO SEND NAMES OF THE INTERESTED CANDIDATES ONLY  AND ALL OF YOU (LIST SENT WITH MY EARLIER MAIL)SHOWN INTEREST.

I AM GOING TO RETIRE IN THE MONTH OF MAY,I DONT KNOW WHAT TYPE OF SUPPORT YOU WILL GET FROM COLLEGE AFTER MY RETIREMENT.
THIS WAS A GREAT OPPORTUNITY FOR ALL OF YOU BUT YOU LOST THE OPPORTUNITY .DUE TO YOU PEOPLE I AND  COLLEGE BOTH  LOST OUR CREDENTIAL.THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME, IN PAST ALSO I HAVE LOST MY FACE DUE TO SIMILAR BEHAVIOUR FROM YOU.
