Dear GCE alumni, lecturers, staff, students and friends,

With a lot of optimism we are hoping to be able to organize a GCE summer fete this year after a one year hiatus!

Since the situation is very dynamic and unforeseeable this email does not contain concrete information and should just serve as a reminder to save the date:

When: Saturday, July 24th

Where: Uni Bayreuth Botanical Garden

Time and programme will be announced later.

To be able to organize a get together between current students and alumni it would be awesome if the alumni that plan on coming could send us some information about themselves:

- What did you focus on during your GCE master / what were and are your main interests?

- What is your current job?

- When did you finish GCE?

Simply send this information to gcestud...@gmail.com if you are an alumni and plan to come to the summer fete.

Everyone else, simply save the date! :)

Dear GCE Fellows,

I send you a Job Offer - The job is in German, so more information in
German.

Es handelt sich um eine Stelle im höheren Dienst des Landes
Baden-Württemberg. Befristet vorerst für zwei Jahre bis ich wieder aus
der Elternzeit zurück bin :-)

Der Job beinhaltet die Sammlung, Aufbereitung und Darstellung von Daten
zu erneuerbaren Energien in Baden-Württemberg für den Energieatlas BW:

Dies beinhaltet auch die Zusammenarbeit mit externen Auftragnehmern, die
Vorbereitung von Ausschreibungen, Projektmanagement, etc. in enger
Zusammenarbeit mit dem Umweltministerium BW.

Ich denke es ist eine gute Gelegenheit für jemanden, der in die
Verwaltung in Baden-Württemberg einsteigen möchte...
