Hello Everybody

I hope the new academic year is being kind to you.

I have a few administrative issues to clear up: Teacher
Standardisation for SCIS2 will be part of AQA's continuing roll-out of
online standardising services. The system - specifically Science in
Society's materials will go live in due course, I will alert centres
and this list accordingly.

As this is the first year we will still be having a single face-to-
face meeting, specifically for new centres/teachers and those who I
will contact by letter. So, I am really urging those new to the
specification to contact me and let me know your presence: primarily
so I can give you details of your coursework adviser, without the
delay of waiting for provisional entries to be finalised.

New centres/teachers can reserve a place on the meeting, in London on
Wednesday 16th November, at the AQA bookings site here:

In summary: New centres/teachers, book yourself on; contact me for
your adviser. Any other centres - if you would like to attend please
contact me and I will do my best to accomodate you if numbers permit.
