At 2.30pm on 19th October schools around the country are invited to help the Society of Biology set a new record for the world’s largest memory game as part of Biology Week.

If you have at least 25 people keen to get together for 10 minutes at 2.30pm on 19th October, you can run the game at your venue. The game is suitable for years 5 – 13 and you don't need any resources – just a room and some people.

Studying memory and the brain has improved our understanding of diseases such as Alzheimer’s, and helped us appreciate what it means to be human. We will be providing learning resources to go alongside the record attempt to explore some of this research, including fact sheets, videos and a quiz. Even if you aren't able to play the game at the specified time you are very welcome to use the resources – please visit our page www.societyofbiology.org/memorygame to find out more.

We want to make the world record as big as we possibly can, so please pass this on to anyone who might be interested. If you would like to take part please contact Rebecca Nesbit (rebecc...@societyofbiology.org).
