hi all
when i want create a small environment on gce, and i install a active directory windows server with a DNS Role also, what is than with DHCP. I get now addresses from the Google DHCP i think, but with this IP Leases i can not configure anything, so i dont can get my own DNS Information there. So must i install my own DHCP Server in my Subnet, or how can i edit my DNS Nameservers in the google dhcp options anywhere?

regards
frank

Hi Frank,

I understand you want to configure the DNS nameserver. Google Cloud Platform also has an internal DNS service that allows you to address instances by their DNS names rather than their internal IP address.

Also, You can check this document for Cloud DNS setup and thus update the nameserver.

Please elaborate more on the issue if the guidelines do not solve it.

Hope this helps.
