Hello, I will like to use Fedora in GCP Compute.
Is there any repository with custom images ready to import to GCP?
The only thing I found is the following blog post: http://rancher.com/running-fedora-21-on-google-compute-engine/

Is anybody here who was trying it? What are the cons of using a custom image? Will I loose any GCP integration? I've posted the question about integration on Stackoverflow: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/41395781/what-are-the-cons-of-gcp-custom-images

Greetings

Hello Robert,

You can create custom Fedora image from scratch or import boot disk from your existing system to Google Compute Engine instance. You can also work with any of the following Google tech partners to migrate your current infrastructure to Google Cloud Platform.

If you wish to build a custom image from scratch, you can refer to this link which has software and hardware requirements for GCE. This youtube video also has necessary steps required to create a custom image for GCE.

I hope that helps.

Faizan - thank you for the response and happy New Year.
I was reading the documentation for building custom OS. I hoped that there is a public repository with custom OS, but the only thing I found is the old openSUSE 13.1
