Hello
We are running a CPU intensive task on a 96 cores machine both on GCP and our AWS accounts
We noticed a significant performance difference in favor of AWS.
While checking CPU versions we found that AWS is using:
Intel(R) Xeon(R) Platinum 8175M CPU @ 2.50GHz

While GCP is using :
Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU @ 2.00GHz

Does anyone knows which specific version of Skylake GCP is using? is it 8th generation or 6th?
The model AWS is using is a specific one for them.

Thanks in advance for the assistance

Hello

GCP Skylake CPUs are in the Intel Xeon Platinum 8xxx family. The specific SKU is not publicly disclosed by Intel so I am not able to share additional details. In addition, Skylake appears to be addressed as 6th generation CPU
