How i can deploy Android Studio with emulator in GCP?

Hi,

I need deploy android studio in gcp for vm instance, this task requirement support feature android emulator (virtualization for cpu). Can I use vm instance on google platform for this item?

You won’t be able to do it out of the box when spinning up a virtual machine and installing Android Studio. You will likely run into a similar error as to ‘HAXM does not support nested virtual machines’.

That being said, GCP VM machines do support Nested Virtualization but you will need to enable it by following these instructions.

Hi Vivak,

I found it article too, but this feature available only for linux vm instances. hmm... for windows vm instances feature nested not available (((. Do you know workaround for windows instance?

As you said, Windows VM on GCP are currently not supported for nested virtualization and I wasn't able to find a working solution for this either.

ok, hmm... but isn't ice. In your environment did you try deploy vm instance on linux and android studio with feature android emulator and how it solution work in your envr?

I haven’t tried setting up these environments on my end but if you’re looking into this set up, then I did find a user post which might point you in the right direction. Also regarding the Windows question, I found a thread with a similar ask on stack overflow. You might find additional help there.
