Install SSL certificate on google cloud hosting

How to install 3rd party ssl certificate to google cloud host.

My client purchased ssl on godaddy.Need to install this to google cloud compute. Please give guidance

Malik, there is additional information needed on your part. What are you running on your server , apache, nginx ? are you using a HTTPs load balancer in front of your instance ?

For apache : https://www.digicert.com/ssl-certificate-installation-apache.htm

For nginx : https://support.globalsign.com/customer/portal/articles/1290470-install-certificate---nginx

For HTTPS LB : https://cloud.google.com/compute/docs/load-balancing/http/cross-region-example#configure_services_needed_by_the_load_balancing_service

Hi,

Thanks for your guidance. i have installed ssl certificate in google cloud host. But still i am trying to load with https page not loaded. But trying http its loaded. Can i enable anything for https ?

Hello Malik,

Have you enabled HTTPS traffic in your GCE network firewall ? Moreover, if you are using source or target tags in your firewall rules make sure to add the tag to your instance.
