Unable to increase my GPU quota.

I already requested to increase my GPU quota and been rejected.

Their response as follow:

Upon checking, we regret to inform you that we are unable to grant your quota increase due to insufficient service usage history.
Quota increases depend on service usage history and the availability of the resource that you are requesting. In your case, since you are unable to use your GPUs at this time, I suggest trying a different workaround. You may refer to this link [1] for information on how you can use utilize different kinds of Machine Types for your project as that could increase your service usage level.   

But I just want to use GPU instance to train my model. I don't want to waste my credit to use some CPU instances to "increase my service usage level", as they said. 

My account is newly created and upgraded already.

Is there any way to increase GPU quota?

As your Quota increase request got initially rejected for GPU. I would recommend reaching out to sales and explain your situation. They will get back to you upon reviewing your requirement. If this is urgent, you can give our Google Cloud Platform sales team a call at: 1-844-613-7589, Available Monday—Friday, 8 AM—8 PM ET.

I contact the sales team and their response is they have no idea how to increase the quota.

Hello Brian,

As Our sales team state "service usage history and the availability of the resource that you are requesting" it depend on Service usage, In your case it's not possible since this is the first time for you, first did you  enable the billing in your project, then put a justification for the usage when requesting the GPU Quotas increase.

The other thing is "the availability of the resource that you are requesting"  this explain the time that you did ask for Quota increase request the GPU in question was not available  at that moment, you can try another time.

Note: "make sure you request the appropriate GPU it's depend on the availability zone as well see this link "
