I have asterisk installed on google cloud instance but the problem that  i cannot connect or register any soft-phone sip peers to it.
I have registered a sip provider and it is 100% working.

Hello Mostafa,

Are you getting any error message? Did you make sure that all the firewall ports are open in your GCE firewall and IPtables on the instance? Did you try connecting on the local host?

For future reference, this question is better suited on ServerFault, where community is active and Google engineers are monitoring it as well however make sure to include all the relevant tags in your question.

I hope this helps.

Sincerely,
George

Hi, George.

I installed an Asterisk server on GCP (Issabel Packages from a CentOS distro). I created all the extensions with no Problems, I can register the extensions, but the sound does not pass (RTP Traffic). I made firewall rules into GPC to allow SIP (udp:5060, udp:5061) and RTP (udp:10000-20000),but the sound does not pass. Could you please help me?

Professor Meira,

Are you using FreePBX? If so, we had the same issue and needed to specify the external IP address in the Admin Console (path: /admin/config.php?display=sipsettings ) I'm not sure where this would be configured on a vanilla Asterisk configuration, but perhaps this will lead you in the right direction.

I

I installed asterisk in GCP (centos 7 distribution), I opened 5060 port (tcp, udp), I opened also 1000-2000 (udp)

I make a static address and Nat is enabled

Video is enabled

But I have those problems

1.       Registration udp not working

2.       I have only audio without video in call

Any Idea please
