Health checks failed for LB

Hi Team,

I have exposed the application using only internal IP of the compute engine . For example if  i curl a localhost/loopback  from VM, connection will be refused ,but if i curl with internal IP ,connection will be establish.


In this case ,Health checks getting failed.Kindly let me know  ,How HC is working in backend.

Have you configured the required firewall rule for the Health Check IP addresses [1]? Depending on which type type of Load Balancer you are using, it would be:

35.191.0.0/16
130.211.0.0/22

or

35.191.0.0/16
209.85.152.0/22
209.85.204.0/22

Also, here is the success criteria require for a health check to pass and an instance to be considered as healthy [2].
