GCE Wordpress Instance Suspended (Crypto Mining)

Hi there,

I created a Bitnami Wordpress Instance via Google Compute Engine for a school project that required a website re-design. It was up and running for about a week until I got an email saying "Immediate action required: Your GCP Project is being suspended ... for violating our service by mining cryptocurrency." The instance was stopped immediately.

I don't know how it was compromised, but my friend in class received the exact same message for his project a day prior.

I need the site up and running ASAP for marking purposes, and have no clue what to do. I've appealed the Policy Violation and they just sent me a bunch of links detailing forums with penetrating testing and what not, which is way over my head to be honest.

Can somebody give me some advice, even if I could just get a screen grab of my project, that's all I need.
