GCE Instance stuck Booting from Hard Disk 0

Hi 
My instance stuck on Booting from Hard Disk 0... after restart

Tried restore\create new instance from snapshot
Tried  to check file system and grub settings

Serial port 1 (console) output:

This most probably means that the boot-loader is corrupt or missing. So you seem on the right track verifying GRUB. Now you can try interacting with the serial port console or your last resort is to attach this disk or its snapshot version to a new instance as an additional (none-boot) disk and try debug it. Maybe re-installing GRUB on the desired partition would help along with this guide about GRUB config . I am afraid it will not be easy to apply a mitigation here. Most probably you will have to make use of a fresh instance as an alternative and transfer the existing data from the problematic disk.  I hope this helps.

Re-install GRUB and GRUB config did not help
I've seen a lot of requests like mine. 
It seems it is virtualization system bug. Have seen error like this at my KVM test PC.
Transfer data to another instance is the only way i see...

I've had no another option.
It is not way to resolve  "Instance stuck Booting from Hard Disk 0" issue
But we need to move and work...
So I do not need help with issue anymore.

I know this is a very old thread but I've found it while looking for a solution to the "Booting from Hard Disk 0" issue.

After many hours of unsuccessful attempts to fix this, the workaround was to stop the instance, detach the boot disk, save, edit instance, attach boot disk back and start it.
