Hello,

Can you let me know how are you accessing your notebook as well as if there is any error message when this disconnect occurs.

I created an instance in my GCP. Then start the instance, open SSH and run command jupyter notebook --ip=0.0.0.0 --port=8866 --no-browser & .
As such, there is no error. But it gets disconnected automatically.

When you connect back without Cloud IAP does the disconnect still occur?

I would also suggest review the IAP documentation and ensure the proper firewall and permissions are set.

Hi,

Thank you for helping.

No, it doesn't disconnect after connecting ' without Cloud IAP '  with the same error.
But yes after some time it gets disconnected showing either 'Can't connect to this network' or 'The kernel appears to have died. It will restart automatically.'
Full day I spend just reconnecting the kernel. How can I resolve this?

As it is working when not using IAP it points towards to issue being the IAP configuration.

I would check to make sure you have the correct firewall rules and IAM permissions as this may be why your are being disconnected.

Note if you're behind a corporate proxy and aren't using Cloud VPN between your on-premises network and your VPC network, you need to whitelist the domain used by IAP for TCP.
