Best location for Indonesia Users

Hello, I have created a site which is hosted on Google cloud compute engine. The site is hosted from Mumbai data center. I have lot of users which comes from Indonesia. I have realised that file upload process takes a long time for users from Indonesia( Bangkok, Surbaya). Can someone let me know what will be the best location in Google cloud to resolve this issue? Will relocation to Singapore provide any help

There could be many factors which affects the performance(speed, in your case) of site which is hosted in the Google Compute Engine's resource. Factors like from where the files are being downloaded and GCP region of your VM can contribute to the downloading speed. Choosing the right core-count for the instance with respect your networking needs is another factor. You could find several ways to improve network performance by referring this document.

It is a good approach to place the instance in a Cloud location (ie Singapore) near to your end users(in your case Indonesia) as well. You can also refer this help center article to find details about the GCP products available in 'Asia Pacific' region. I hope this helps.
