Okay, this is going well enough that I've upgraded to the paid version. Many thanks for the helpful feedback on this list!

The video at

mentions that I can get $500 in credit by entering a coupon code. Where do I enter that code? I can't find anything at:

https://console.developers.google.com/billing/

Hello Peter,

The promo code "devbyte" for 550$ is not active anymore. Instead now we offer free trial credit of 300$ to customer creating a new Google cloud project.
