GKE: Can't create a kubernetes cluster with a local SSD drive

Hello there,

Why is it not possible to create gke cluster with ssd drives ?? (with the --boot-disk-type option)

$ gcloud container clusters create --help

- create a cluster for running containers

Will it possible someday ? Basic drive are so slowwww.

Hello Adrien,

Unfortunately, creating a GKE cluster with SSD disks is not possible for the time being. However, it can be a valid feature request that you can submit on this specific forum.
