Dashboard for total VM count in a project

Hi all,

I was trying to get a custom dashboard where I can see total number of VMs running inside my project. I did not get any luck into it.

Could you please suggest something.

Hello Arvind,

I would like to suggest you to create the custom dashboard following the next documentation [1]. I would like to recommend you to use the metric "VM INSTANCE - UPTIME", this metric will show delta of how long the VM has been running, in seconds. All the VM's that are currently running, will return a 'Latest Value' of 1, and the VM's that are stopped, won't return any value. Then you could filter all the VMs that have this 'Latest Value' of 1, to see all the VMs that are running on your project. You could also use the metric "VM INSTANCE - UPTIME TOTAL" that shows elapsed time since the VM was started, in seconds. I hope that this information suits on you.
