GCE SSH Password Reset

Hi,

I have a google instance I'm trying to SSH into, and it keeps asking me for a password. I don't recall what the password is so I removed my local google_compute_engine and google_compute_engine.pub and tried to ssh into the instance again, this time with no passphrase and I'm still being prompted for a password. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

How are you trying to SSH into the instance?  The ssh command? If so, you may need to reconfigure your local SSH with new keys.

Try using gcloud to ssh or configure your local ssh config.

Thanks for the help, I did try that. Removed all the keys and then regenerated new keys and I got in. Thanks!
