hi all! does anyone know if google supports or prohibits running tor relays or exit nodes on GCE?

i'm familiar with the TOS and AUP, but Tor is a gray area, and they don't mention it explicitly.

Ryan,

We can not provide legal advice as to how our Terms of Service may apply in your case.  You should consult your own attorney for that.  We can, however, point out that Section 13.2 of the Service Specific Terms states "13.2 Networking. Customer will not, and will not allow third parties under its control to: (i) use the Services to provide a service, Application, or functionality of network transport or transmission (including, but not limited to, IP transit, virtual private networks, or content delivery networks); or (ii) sell bandwidth from the Services."

Regards,
Jesse
