Cant connect to VM - GCP

My VM was working fine for last 8 months and all of a sudden I am not able to login to it via terminal and gcp console as well.

Upon checking further, I could see that the image section in the VM is blank which means there is no image however server is ON.

I have attached serial port output and screenshot for blank image section for reference.

Hey,

I looked into similar cases and there two solutions that I can find.

1- recreate the instance with the same boot disk

2- use the serial console [1] [2] to log into the instance and restart the network manager service.

[2] the startup script to set up credentials for serial console access:
