I'm looking for a web host and not sure if this is the right fit. Need:Apache, perl, mysql, ftp, .
Does this service provide these basics?
If not, any recommends for a site with 50k users a day?
Thanks

Hello Todd,

It really depends on what kind of website are you trying to create. Google Compute Engine is self-managed scalable and flexible platform where you can run a traditional LAMP stack and manage all by yourself. If you want to use Google compute, check out the free trial

On the other hand, Google App Engine is a fully managed platform where you do not have to worry about server configuration but just deploy your own code and it also supports many languages. I hope this helps.
