RE MEETING FOR GCD1

Guys some one please take an initiative to gather all of us.

Don't leave it to me . This time i have started this as i want some one to take initiative .

I am getting the feeling that all of us are waiting for the others to take action.This is not only my project.

Nothing magical will happen this way take action . 

From all the investors no one is willing to set a date and coordinate a meeting. This is strange . very strange

NO wonder the developer is taking us for a ride. I feel a few of us will manage to complain to arra and get their dues if this carries on and the  rest will be left out . 

Please some one take initiative and spend some time for a meeting i promise to be present unconditionally .

I suggest each one try to bring one more and we will be able to get all of our investors together.

I wish some one comes forward and arranges a meeting some time during the upcoming holiday or weekend any thing is fine that comes up by consensus. Friday would be a good option 

Lets hope for the best

Yesterday I have received a new payment plan stating that 10 % of contstruction has already completed for GCD-2 and i am required to pay 40 % of the price now, according to the payment plan i will be paying the installement every Month with the Cunstruction, also the completeion is further delayed till 2013, can some when please let me know if he has received the same thing and what actions are being planned further, I cannot realy keep on spending my hard earned money like this, where i cannot see any hope, also the prices in UAE has gone down consideraly how come tey can ask us to pay for a price whch is unrealistic as per the Market conditions.

you are right,best option is to have full refund,and 2nd best option in my opinion is to get the realistic price reduction and loss of rental income as if we had the delivery according to the agreement and there should not be any way they can dictate terms when they are the one who are in breach of their agreement .

I still think a good lawyer can take them to the cleaners.

We all know that we are being taken for a ride. No one wishes to take action.

Just discussion on the forum is not even going to help .

With all due respect to the person who is asking for a full refund its IMPOSSIBLE. 

Has any one been to ARRA lately  any one from the uae see try and talk just tell them you wish to complain against STAR GIGA and post the response. Try and see and then we can take it further. I have called arra and been to their offices i m not posting my experience

First of all know that what kind of mess we all are into . I am here talking OF GCD 1.

I again suggest GCD 2 make their own group as their demands will be different than ours and it will be difficult to coordinate things.

But once again what should we do and how do we go about it ?

First of all understand that there will be NO refunds any way as ARRA doesnt support refunds  in any manner what so ever if the construction has started so leave refunds out of  the discussion please.

In the photocopy of the ARRA extract sent by ETA STAR, it says clearly that any cancellation (no matter how much money is already paid) will be null and void. So asking for cancellation will be tough. But you can try. But I guess it will be like fighting against the Emir himself in person - or the juridical system itself. And that will be a tough one...

 Doering Viturin I agree it is a mammoth task and the ARRA response you know what it is to refunds. people who have lost touch with reality and expect a refund like a cake walk are dreaming ... The current condition is all of us are in default of the contract even when we have been not getting delayed delivery after 3 years and even past the ULTIMATE LONG STOP DATE and we have been asked to pay considerable sums of money IMMEDIATELY
