Note that the system treats each email address as an individual account and therefore if you wish to communicate with more than one email address you will have to open multiple accounts on the support desk.

You may open support queries by visiting the 'My Stuff' page on our support desk website or by sending us an email as previously (this will automatically create a support query and link it to your account or if you send us an email from an address that is not registered with us the system will create a new account on our support site).

We prefer that you send in your inquiries directly by visiting our support website.

We hope that this will assist us improve our customer service and enable us to speed up our responses to your daily queries.

Hi Robert AD,

I also got the same, but did NOT register. I had written to them a PERSONAL e-mail, and I expect a PERSONAL reply from them (which as to be expected, I did not receive until today!!!). We shall not give them any more chance to escaping from here to there.

Further, a new update:

I am in contact with a DUBAI law firm who also make money collection. I check with them if they are willing and interested to also handle the ETA case. Their deal is that they take a commission between 10% and 18% on the money retrieved. That might be another option. Of course, they cannot guarantee to get the money back - The money retrieval fee is approx 3000.- AED - but if it has to go to court, then of course the court charges apply.

Any input on this?

Meanwhile, I still await the feedback from the newspapers I contacted. I think we have to use as many options now as possible... And at the same time.

Dear all,

through my business partners in the UAE, I have contacted a law firm.
They make this offer:

Today I discussed with Al Bahar & Associates, Mr Muhammad Siddiqui
(Debt Collection Department) regarding ETA down payment cases. They
are willing to offer one flat rate at AED1000 for starting the cases
and they are giving discount for the following options:

Please note, that this does not include a court case against ETA, but
though other legal means to try to recover the money. If there would
be a court case, separate fees would have to be paid. I am not
interested in a court case at first, but only the mony recovery task:

Option 1: Reduced AED500 from AED2500 to AED2000 c/w commission of 10%
recovered amount.
Option 2: As usual AED1000 c/w commission of 15% recovered amount.
Option 3: As usual Nil c/w commission of 18% recovered amount.
Option 4: One year contract of AED18,000 for any number of cases and
any amount c/w 8% recovered amount.

I attached a copy of their name card to this e-mail. I already started
to have them work on my case.

Anybody who is interested, please go ahead and contact them.

Just to let you know,

I had contacted 4 newspapers, and about 15 independent journalists - I
got 3 replies saying that they will forward it to the concerning
departments and see if they are interested, I also got one denial
telling me that now nobody is interested in people who have invested
in real estate and now neither get their money nor their houses,
saying that these news are too common already. And from all the
others, I did not get a reply. I will follow up and let you know the
progress.

Is there any progress from anybody else, any activity? Anybody else
actively doing something?

Hi Guys,

Update from my end. I have emailed Anabel from ITV outlining our case and the experience we all are going through since investing in Emirates City.

Hopefully I will hear from her soon.

Hugely disappointed as there was only one person from UK who emailed me his details and would come ahead to tell his side of the story so don't know where are all these so-called UK investors moaning about their lost money or perhaps they all have given up. Anyways I will try everything from my end with or without anyone.
