A quick HI to all my friends here on the forum .
A big NO to the forum being dead. No the forum is not dead I was away
for a while and i have not paid attention to the forum during my
holidays.
Since the Holy month of ramadan has started I have time on my hands
and i will be able to handle the efforts required of of this forum.
A shout of thanks to some one who tried to make a google spread sheet
Great job but I want to keep people on this forum. We have about 100
odd investors on this list so lets not reinvent the wheel again .
Just a gentle reminder to our newer members I have been collecting
details in an OFFLINE spread sheet due to privacy issues we dont want
the info to get to the wrong hands . So here is how it goes

Hi,
we have already drafted a letter and are in process fo reviewing it.
We have about 40 active investors who particiapte and will be signing
the letter. Our goal is to:
Force ETA to accept our contract change requests (for those who did
not signe yet)
Force ETA to give us reasonable price discount (in various forms)
to let ETA know that we will bring this matter to the international
MEDIA if the do not cooperate
to force ETA to cancel contract and refund in case of inacceptable
performance and progress.
I suggest we join all the data and investors addresses - we soon will
go to ETA with the letter singed by approx 40 investors. If we just
have a discussion here in the forum, it will not bring us anything. So
we we are taking actiuon. We are not competing among different forums
or people - all we want is to take action before its too late. I
suggest we combine all our investors data - or you pass the data on to
the person who makes the letter - then all names will be listed and
eeryone is given a chance to sign the letter (or not if they decide
not to).
This is our action plan and we will moe ahead since time is running -
and we have to act before its too late.

That's the only way out left to us. ETA guys would, otherwise, keep giving us one excuse after another. Technically and ethically, they are responsible for all the mess. It is our hard earned money and they must respond positively.
They are just keeping quite. Please let us all know when the draft is ready.

Writing letter is a very good idea, but is there any possibility that we can make this letter official to convince them that we are so persistent in our request. Can't we send the letter to ARRA or any legal entity that this letter will go to ETA or GIGA officially like a warning from government and legal entities"?
Does anyone has any idea how can we make this letter more enforceable? I afraid if they read the letter and just don't even look at it ...
There should be something to scare them ....

To be frank. I don't see any legal aspect to this forum's dreams.
I understand that they have registered with ARRA. If its true ARRA will be the final authority to enforce penalties, if they fail to deliver by the long FINAL date.
I may sound pessimistic. But its a fact.
We have been having a long fore play, without much ado.
Only compensation we can get at this stage is as a favor from the builder.
Correct me if I am wrong.

There cannot be more absurdity.
This forum should represent legal investors. Not the ones without agreement contracts.

Once they reg. With ARRA they are bound and will be forced by ARRA to open escrow.
Not making payments direct, but through escrow. Makes sense. ETA will not ask for direct payments, I understand.
I feel the forum is in the interest of investors who have not signed the contracts. Who, I understand do not have legality, that's why they need support from the ones who have signed and have been making payments regularly.
Considering the circumstances, would not like genuine and legal investors interests get jeopardised. Anyway ARRA will take appropriate action and ensure contracts are signed, etc .....
Mr. Anil has been compiling data, he should tell us how many have not signed the contracts.

The letter if course is official. We will bring it to media if not responded by ETA as our request.
Forums are a good way to exchange ideas, but then action has to follow. In this case, there is no competition among groups. We all invested our money and have to take action to protect it. Talking in any forum for a lengthy period of time or taking steps to ETA as an undividuum are of no big success.
The power in a forum in general as well as thus forum is that one could take action as a group. The Google questionnaire was intended to get the opinion of majority and based on that take action
We have first draft ready - an official letter in the name if all those who want to take part.
All we do is try to move things ahead and take action - not only lead a discussion in a forum. Again... Discussion is also good - when action follows.
We already added 50 names to the official letter - please suggest how we can incorporate the 100+ names as well. I think this would be a positive and good act.

First draft has been send back to author with minor revisions - we will send it to you guys (who put their name and preferences in google form) once ready. It comprises contract change request, money reduction, construction end date concretisation request, etc.

I have a question ..did somebody received the Escrow account for Gold Crest Dream 1 ?? I have checked with ARRA they said they have registered with them...but we didn't received the escrow account. My surprise is or Arra told them to grow with the construction level as per the money colected till now. and after to collect more money or what else .Thay said in the bigining of August that to open the account will takes 20 days.......
Has somebodey some other information?

I have been following up with ETA Star office on telephone and I have been receiving the same answer that the process of opening an ESCROW account with Ajman Bank is on and it would be done in the next week or so.
With people saying that electricity is not going to be there anytime before 2015 in the Emirates City and ETA Star delaying construction and not wanting to even talk of refund-it seems that we have been trapped. Let's raise some noise collectively and only then we could get something positive.

Hello Rauf,
the letter is finished. We are now in the process to add all names from the GOOGLE-ONLINE Form into the letter and then send the letter to all of those registered in the ONLINE-FORM for signature. Some of you have only written their initials or nick-names ... unfortunately this will not help. The name in the list needs to be exactly the same name as the one used for signing the contract.
In the end, we will only add those names of the people who have signed. A meeting this week-end might be planned or final signing of the letter - so all those of you who wish to be able to see the letter and or sign it, please enter your data ASAP.

I have been following up with ETA Star office on telephone and I have been receiving the same answer that the process of opening an ESCROW account with Ajman Bank is on and it would be done in the next week or so.
With people saying that electricity is not going to be there anytime before 2015 in the Emirates City and ETA Star delaying construction and not wanting to even talk of refund-it seems that we have been trapped. Let's raise some noise collectively and only then we could get something positive.

The Letter has been finalised and will be sent today.(gathering everyones details etc takes some- as i am not working for the google investment group during the day and night)
More and More people have finally put their details on the list which is attached to the letter for people to sign.
As for you "Robert AD" who ever you are..... your attitude and comments have been nothing but negative(no not personal) just negative. i See your name has been included on the list for this letter, by the sounds of things you are not inclined to be so supportive of the actions we are taking, so why sign up and why get involved. You should be more aprreciative rather than sending your negative remarks.

Helping and giving the correct suggestions, however bitter or sweet will only help the forum members. Accepting or rejecting is individual choice.
There is no doubt u r thick skinned, else u wouldn't be giving date after date to the forum about the release of the PR0MISED LETTER.
Let those who still want believe in you continue to wait and wait and wait , by the time all control and authority is with ARRA and not with ETA.

Please bear in mind that everyone is contributing time and efforts in spite of their regular day jobs - that itself is a good sign.
