Beginning Whos Who / GCD integration

Hi folks. If I did this right, this should ready Ray, Tony, Matt,
Lionel and Henry. I've finally created this group so we can begin
discussing things. I've added Ray, Tony, and Matt because they
volunteered to be on the committee. I added Henry because he expressed
interest in reviewing what we come up with, and I added Lionel because
he is the Board chair.

This group will discuss how to integrate the information in Jerry
Bails' Who's Who with the Grand Comics Database. We will produce a
report defining what data should be imported, what data structure is
required, and how the data will be used, per the ballot

I don't think we ever discussed this committee in the main forums,
so there may be a few people out there who also want to volunteer. I'm
going to post a general message that we exist and the purpose and see if
anyone else wants to come on board.

I'm new at chairing one of these, so don't mind me if I go slow at
first.

Secondly, I have a zip file ready of Jerry's FIleMaker Pro files of his who's who. These were his last updates he made the morning before he died and never put on the website. Jamal asked fr them but I did not send them yet and I do not see him here right now..

I have been in the hospital for the past week for an intestinal infection, but I wish to keep on top on this so I look forward to helping. I maybe resigning from the GCD Board soon, but when I do I will announce it there. Jerry's work holds a special place in my heart and I want to see it even greater with the GCD.

i replied to him back the size of the files before I got hospitialized, if he sent a response, its still buried in the rest of the 2995 emails I got left... and the items are on another computer too so I cannot send them here...
