Web services & API

Hi all

I have no experience at all creating APIs, but would happily help to
makeit happen.

I guess this is a good starting point, showing some of the available options:

All my experience is using SOAP based APIs (in Magento powered
websites) and writting my apps/scripts in PHP.

Do you guys prefer any specific technology?

I would much prefer a REST API approach vs SOAP. It's a better match for an
HTTP-based site. I can go into more detail sometime when work is not crazy and
I'm not trying to buy a condo... hopefully in a few weeks? But there are some
pretty good intro sites out there, IIRC. Don't know anything specific other
than the wikipedia page off the top of my head, though.
