Ignoring accents not working for creators in everything search

I thought it used to ignore accents for search purposes? (Could be wrong)

We recently upgraded the search server, which needed some setup changes,
seemingly some defaults changed under the hood.
I thought I checked accents and umlauts, but it currently doesn't treat
these as it should and did.

Will investigate, but likely will take some days due to Erlangen.
