Question about the current API status....

Hi all, new to the group here. I'm wondering if anyone would have a problem with me working on a re-write of the API functionality to make it a full REST API? I want to do this for selfish reasons...I'm creating a comic book manager app, akin to mylar and kapowarr, and want to be able to consume GCD metadata for user libraries. So would anyone have any objections?

I’m not sure I particularly have an opinion either way. But certainly there are existing callers on the existing contract, so anything we do should maintain that for them in the medium term.

Quick question then, do you want me to work from the api experimental branch or create separate api v2 branch?
