Suggestion for Processing Issue Edits

So, I had an idea which might speed up processing edits to issue pages, but I wasn't sure if would work, or if it could be implemented.

Was thinking that we could split the issue edits into major and minor edits, which could be decided on how many IMPs an edit might earn someone (say, 10-15 or less is a minor edit). Extra editors can be granted permissions to approve minor edits only, since those are going to mostly be correcting errors, linking credits, linking characters, etc., stuff that's easier to check over, which would allow other editors to focus on the major edits.

What do you think?
