Internationalization

One requirement I forgot to spell out is that we'd like the site to be internationalized--which is to say, in simplest terms, someone could click on a language flag or link of some kind and the interface would become localized to that language/environment (i.e. all the field labels and links and widgets would be in the correct language, dates would display in an appropriate format, if we decide to do anything with dimensions or currency they would display in appropriate units and with appropriate symbols, etc.)

 

Which in turn reminds me that we really do want this to be an international project, so if you know someone with an interest in non-US strips--particularly non-English strips--please invite them to join the discussion.  We want to avoid coming up with a set of requirements that are too US or English specific (though English will probably remain the lingua franca of this discussion list).
