To answer this another way:
By the time the strip database is ready for beta testing, I'm pretty sure we'll have universal search working. Or we'll be pretty close to it. So instead of filling in a search form that asks you what fields to search, you'd have a generic search where you could put in something like Alex Raymond and you'd find everything related to Alex Raymond in any of the projects. Maybe sorted into categories like an IMDb search: Here's the creator record for Alex Raymond, here are strips associated with Alex Raymond, here are comic books associated with Alex Raymond, here are bibliography entries related to Alex Raymond. Or you could do a search for "Kirby Green Arrow", mixing creators and characters, or characters and book titles, or creators and strip names, to narrow your search down quickly in ways that currently require Advanced Search.

Forgive me for my ignorance but will the creator databases and the character database be, in effect, tables from the indexing projects? I guess I'm asking if it will be a simple thing to search for a creator in the strip database and, not finding what you expected, just click a button and bring up the creator stuff from the creator database?
