GCD Strip Requirements Doc

We've had a few new people join the strips list in the past few days.

As an FYI, the Strips group produced a requirements document for the Grand Comics Database (http://www.comics.org) board of directors detailing what requirements members of the group felt were important when creating a comic-strip database, to be part of the GCD.

At the moment, the document is waiting for the tech team to complete some preliminaries, which might take the rest of the year, so I would not expect work on the strip database to begin this year.  The strip database requirements include several tables that are also needed by the current GCD, and the creation of those tables would be a prerequisite to the creation of the strip infrastructure.

The project is not dead, but it is on hold at the moment.

In the meantime, members of the strip list are welcome to use the list as a general strip discussion list.
