Social media stats for April 2026

For some reason we've had a large spike in the Facebook group membership. Over three hundred new members last month, a nearly 10% jump, and the first few days of May have members joining at a similar pace. No idea what's prompted it.

My wife's the co-moderator of a Facebook genealogy group, and the
Facebook algorisms are sending recommendations to an extremely large
number of people these days

I would guess the new folks like the scan, and Lionel's brief
write-up; and wanted a continuation of more of the same. Lionel,
what's your thinking?
Are your posts getting more "likes" now, or some indication that
they're being looked at?
Do we have link on the posts (or is that not allowed?)
