our old Yahoo 'Grandcomicsdata' list

I recently discovered that we have this old e-mail list (at
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Grandcomicsdata/) still active, but it has
handled no real e-mail since July 2008. It's only had a couple of spam
messages since then. Unless anyone has any other info, I will move to
close this address down.

Here's the conversation I had with Mike about shutting down the
Yahoo group. Unless someone else has the password, it looks like a dead
end and the site will just sit out there in the ether until Yahoo
disappears.

I just tried to sign up to the list, entering the following message in
the "Comment to Owner":

I've got 121 messages from that list archived (Feb 21, 2007 to March
4, 2008, plus an outlier by Bob Beerbohm from Sept 1, 2009. I didn't
keep the spam.) I may have earlier messages archived somewhere
else. It doesn't look like there's much of importance on it. mostly
complaints about the old lists being down or the site is down.

If you want me to see what else I've got, I could archive these
somewhere (providing I figure out how to get them out of Eudora) and
we could close the list down.

There are about 500 more emails to the list than what Merlin has. The list began in 2001 when the mailing lists were down for an extended period of time. I haven't had a chance to go through much of what's there, but it seems early on there may have been some meaningful discussions and then later it turned into mostly complaints about the lists being down and posts wondering when they'd be back up.
