donation request

[Donald Dale Milne]

    I just received by mail, a request for a donation to the
organization Colel Chabad (www.colelchabad.org ).  The request is for a
grant to assist them in providing help on behalf of families of fallen
and injured soldiers in Israel, since the beginning of hostilities on
October 7, 2023.

    This seems well outside of the area we would spend our funds on,
but I wanted to pass it on the the Board for your information.

For the record, I also got a copy of this request, mine arriving on 24th December.

i suspect I got mine later than Don due to my remoteness (no overnight delivery here).

As an officer, my address would be on record.

I agree. It’s a cause I might support personally, but GCD should only consider causes related to our mission.
