Dear GCC Community,
My name is Matthew and I own a company here in Beijing called Street
Hustle Promotions. We've been in Beijing for 5 years and have brought
Western artists to china for the past 5 years, such as; Kanye West,
Kylie Minogue, Usher, Beyonce, Fat Joe, Ying Yang Twins, Macy Gray and
more. We love music and we love creating great events around these
artists. We've recently taken a dive into the Rock scene and we've had
a great response! Rock events are amazingly fun and have great energy
so we've made a decision to do 1 every 2 months (October's artist is a
BIG ONE).
This month on August 9th, we've brought over the wildly popular US
band Neon Trees. If you guys don't know who they are, they've had
covers on GLEE and have had two #1 hits on Billboard charts this year.
The concert will be at a great live house called Tango 3/F. (Near the
Llama Temple) This space is great, because it has something for
everyone. a) If you want to dance, jump around and sing along you can
on the huge dance floor, b) if you prefer to just watch you have lots
of space to do that too, c) if you want to chat with your friends
there's lots of places to sit and drink and chat. d) If you wanna feel
like you're ballin' they have a VIP section too. (There will be some
local celebs hanging there)
We've made quite an event out of it with a very popular Beijing band
that's recently gone international called Pet Conspiracy to open for
Neon Trees. We've titled the series of events "Let's Rock" so you can
tell from the name we're all about a good time. For GCC members we've
wanted to give you guys a deal because we know what it's like to be
separated from things you love and a little injection of something
from home or something of a little Western influence is a nice
refresher. Some come and join us, and depending on the size of your
group, we'd like to offer any GCC member and their friends 10-15%
ticket prices.
