Is there any documentation that explains how to use the *.*asm files
that come with the Dragon12 CD?

Hi,

If you are interested in learning assembly for HCS12, I recommend
reading http://hcs12text.com by Tom Almy. The book is fairly priced
(around $55) and you can buy the electronic version as well. If you
are in rush, you can provide an FTP and ask the author to upload the
CD for you.

If you know how to program in asm, you just need an assembler that I
think it comes with Dragon12 CD.

Hope this helps.

Hello,
I appreciate the response. I did take a computer architecture class in
college but it was one of about 32 classes so retention was down to a
minimum. I have "Computer System Architecture 3rd" by M. Morris Mano.
I wouldn't say it's the best book to review assembly language. I don't
have a budget to buy literature right now so I'll see if my local
library has any other books regarding assembly language. I'll also dig
up my class notes and see if I can review what we went over in class.

Thank you.
