Ayr Highlands Ride Sunday May 1,2026

Hello all;

The ride is good to go, here are some notes for you:

-Washrooms will be available on site

-No road closures except for downtown Paris. Pedestrian access is open across the William St bridge over the Grand River, as is access to restaurants downtown, and the route up Grand River St towards Paris Links Rd 

-on the long route, there are pizza places and restaurants in St George.  There is a McDonalds at Watts Pond Rd & Pinehurst Rd, after leaving downtown Paris

-All roads are paved, despite the RWGPS showing a couple of sections otherwise.

The forecast is for chilly weather, but it should warm up quickly. I think these routes are among our most scenic and interesting, you should not be disappointed. I will be at the start regardless of the weather, so looking forward to seeing you.
