The important thing is we had a great trip and everyone made it home
safely. The competition was very tough. Eric Merriam came back home
a champion in the 98 pound school boy division. Matt Tuckson had the
tournament of his life winning two free style match's in a tough 136
pound school boy division (finishing 3rd) and Zack Nifong finished 3rd
at 98 pounds-Cadet division. Zack had some great gut rolls in his
second match to get the win.
Chris Mansfield had a tough tournament going 1-2 in the Junior Free
Style division. All his matches we close and could have gone either
way. The level of competition was very high and the wrestling was
fast and furious. Chris did a great job but came up a little short
this time.
