GBSA swimmers’ behavior at CCBC

GBSA families I need you to speak with all your swimmers and make the following very clear:

We are guests at this college and our rental usage is in way guaranteed.  We can have no more locker room issues - ZERO. This is not one individual.  This has been a growing trend of swimmers playing and splashing and rough housing and spending more time in the locker room after practice has started. I have had multiple recent instances of kids being here 5-10 minutes before practice and not coming out until 5-10 minutes after.  Unacceptable. 

   I also have addressed most of the kids regarding their responsibilities regarding swimming time.  It’s their time to get better. Coming in a sitting and watching team mates do all the work to get lane lines in is also completely unacceptable 

PLEASE address your swimmers: and this spams all groups W2, W1, and BLJ. 

Also very important reminder - possibly from last year but I believe I emailed this early season:

ALL minis swimmers, no matter their age, are to escorted by their parent/carpool adult onto the pool deck. This means if they are different gender the adult goes through lockers and makes sure the swimmer gets on deck. This is the same for pick up.  Minis should not be u supervised - they should be picked up on the pool deck and then wait for them in the hallway while they change.
